My Opinion : NYX Champagne & Caviar Palette

Hi there ladies!

How are you? :) on this post i wanna talk about my very first eyeshadow palette, and this is from NYX called Champagne & Caviar Palette. I have this palette over a year ago, I like it but not love it.

First the packaging, it's very sleek and compact also came with big size mirror which I love. It's really easy to put on your travel or even your everyday makeup bag. This palette will not take so much room in your makeup bag. But it's really easy to get your finger print on it, if you're an OCD maybe it's bother you.

Came with sponge tip applicator, i just throw it away when I got it because I knew I will never use it.

Look at the colors! Pretty right? hehe. The palette contain 10 colors neutral eyeshadow, 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades. I have to say some of the shimmer shades are not show up on my skin, they're pretty same color when I applied to my eye ball. The most gorgeous color in this palette is the matte deep brown color, I always use it for the outer corner of of eye and up to my crease.

Here are all the swatch without primer underneath, nice pigmentation. I suggest to use primer because the colors are very easy to fade out. Also I have a little bit issue with fall out for the matte shades. The black on this palette not dark dark black, it's more like chalker black.

I got mine at here, they have the best price for NYX product. I forgot how much I pay for it, but it's definitely affordable. Great for beginner, if you have a ton of neautral eyeshadow I'm not suggested to buy this palette because I'm pretty sure you have similar color.

My Opinion : Bobbi Brown Corrector

Hi There Ladies!!

Woow it's been a long time since my last post. I really sorry, been busy at work.
Everytime I wanna write a blog I just don't know what I want to write about, I'm not really buying or trying new product.

But, about a month ago I tried new makeup product. It's definitely not new at all, but I just dying to tried this out. This is Bobby Brown Corrector my shade is Peach, I don't really want my undereye area super highlight or lighter than the rest of my face, so I go with peach it's pretty close to my skin color.

From the picture it's looks very yellow but it's really match my skin tone

The consistency is quite creamy, first I really scare it will be creasing but I'm wrong it didn't creasing at all (I always set it with powder). The coverage is amazing, you can see from the picture below. My eyes looking fresh after I use it, I read at one of beauty blog (I forget which one) she said that this Bobby Brown Corrector is 8 hours sleep in jar and it's true!!

For the price I must say it's very pricey $23 at Sephora US but in where I live Indonesia it cost more, I think it's about IDR 350.0000 if I'm not mistaken. But for me it's really worth it! If you want to buy it online I suggest to tried the color at the counter.

Too Faced Palette - Naked Eye

Hi there ladies!

Who doesn't love neutral eyeshadow palette? Most of my eyeshadow is neutral because I not brave enough to wear color on my eye. I think I'm just playing safe hehe. I got this Too Faced Naked Eye Palette earlier this year from my Mom, thank you Mom :)

To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the cover of the palette, I don't know why. The packaging quite nice for traveling, it's made from thick cardboard and have a magnatic closures.

Doesn't came with mirror, not a big deal for me. I love the color from this palette, I can make really effortless eye look and smokey look! I love this palette because it has a matte black eyeshadow, I can't get enough with matte black eyeshadow.

It came with double ended little baby brush but I think is useless. I never use it, you can see it it still have the plastic cover on it. In my opinion the drawer just make this palette little bit bulky.

Close Up Look

If I wear eyeshadow for work it might be great choice because it's a natural palette! But I just wearing eyeshadow for going out and special occasion.

I'm really sorry I don't have swatches for each eyeshadow because my battery die and i don't know where is the charger  :(

Some of the colour doesn't really show up on my eyelid which is Birthday Suit, Pink Cheeks, Pillow Talk and Like a Virgin. I love Satin Sheet for highlighting my inner corner verry pretty. The quality is great, very blendable and easy to work with.

It came with three cards, so if you are a newbie for eyeshadow it would be great for you :)

My Opinion : E.L.F Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15

Hi there ladies!

I don't really wear lipstick for daily bases, don't ask me why. I prefer wearing lip balm or tinted lip balm, my lips are very chapped during the day. I want something that makes my lips smooth, giving nice natural color, little bit of color and taste good at the same time.
E.L.F Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15 is the best answer for my needs :)

Very bulky packaging, it would take a lot of room in your makeup pouch. I would recommend to bring your lip brush if you hate to dip in your finger on it. 

It smells good likes coconut and taste good also, but please don't eat it!! It's not a treat x)

I would describe Mellow Melon as a coral with a lilttle bit of pink color, it give me such a pretty lip color. I don't like the other color which is Nice & Natural, the color is too cool for me and it's washed me out. Everytime I wear Nice & Natural by it self it make me looks like zoombie which is ot attractive at all, but if I layer it on top of bright red lipstick it's great. For $3 I think it's a great product!

My Opinion : Lorac Front of The Line Pro Eyeliner in Black

Hi there ladies!

Wearing eyeliner is a must for me, I love liquid eyeliner other than another type of eyeliner for my top lash line. But sometimes I have trouble to draw a precise line. If you remember in couple of my last post, I got this eyeliner in the Lorac set, I was very excited to try this eyelilner because I never try this pen kind of eyeliner.

I like the packaging, it literally looks like a pen.

The pointy tip of it give me more control to draw precise thin line. If I want to make a thicker line, I use the side of the eyeliner. It's very easy for me to get winged look using this eyeliner.

The color pay off is quite qood, I have to apply 2 layers to get the color I want. The finish is not true matte, if you like matte eyeliner finish I would recommend Revlon Colorstay one (the Revlon one is true black color!).
It have great staying power, it last on my eyes for more than 8 hours without smudging or flaking all over my face. If you have very oily lids, I suggest to prime your eyes before apply this eyeliner.

Overall I'm happy with Lorac Front the Line Pro. I'm not sure if I will repurchase it, because it's quite pricey for liquid eyeliner.

My Opinion : Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hours Blush in Dollface

Hi there ladies!

In this post I wanna talk about Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Dollface
Mine is in travel or may I said sample size. To be honest I'm not reaching this blush so often, not because I don't like the color. I more into peach and coral blush.

 

I love how compact and tiny this blush very travel friendly. Sometimes it's very hard to open, I don't know it just mine or it happened to everyone? The travel size one doesn't come with the mirror, but is not a big deal for me.

In the picture it looks like muddy pink colour, but in a real life I would describe as a matte baby pink colour. It doesn't really show up in my skin tone I'm medium plus in MAC Studio Careblend, but it definitely buildable. For the staying power it does stay for really long time, I didn't need to touch up my blush during the day love it!
I'm not sensitive for the scent, but this blush have a weird smells for me. The smells reminds me of some medicine.

Overall I quite like this blush for natural look, have you tried any Tarte products?

Love Hand Cream(s) ?

Hi there ladies!

Everytime I go to The Body Shop or Marks & Spencer I always try their hand cream, even though I'm not buy anything hehe. Hand cream is one of my must have item in my purse, i just wanna make sure my hands always feels silky smooth when I'm on the go.

With no particular order, this my opinion about my hand cream that I owned :

Marks & Spencer Lavender Moisturising Hand and Nail Cream

The consistency of this hand cream is quite thin. I love the smells of lavender, not over powering smells which I love. It's not feeling greasy on my hand, dry very quickly. It does moisturizing  my hand. It cost IDR 59.000 for 100ml, I think it's affordable enough.

Marks & Spencer Aloe Vera Hand and Nail Cream

 

This hand cream very similar to lavender one, but I don't really like the smells of it. When the first I tried this hand cream it's smells so refreshing but after a while the smells make me dizzy. It cost IDR 59.000 for 100ml. Marks & Spencer has promo going on, you can get it 4 toiletries just for paying 3! Great deals! (For Indonesia only)

The Body Shop White Musk Moisturising Hand and Nail Cream

It have quite thick consistency, I love to apply it before I go to bed. For a daily use it a little bit greasy on my hand because it's really moisturizing hand cream. The smells just like the other White Musk line from The Body Shop. I cost IDR 99.000 for 100ml, for me it's quite expensive, I prefer the Marks & Spencer for the price sake :)

The Body Shop Soft Hands Kind Heart Hand Cream

  

This is the most favorite hand cream of mine. The consistency very thin and it really moisturizing my hand, not feeling greasy at all. It's really light flowery smell and refreshing! It's easy for me to putting in my purse without taking a lot room. It cost IDR 49.000 for 50ml.

Skin Food Milk Smooth Hand Cream

 

I don't like this hand cream at all, i can't describe the smells of it but it's not a good smell. It's like a gel and it really really greasy, it doesn't do anything for me but greasy feeling hand uuuhhh!! It cost maybe around IDR 80.000 (I'm not sure) for 100gr. Such a waste of money :( but if it works for you let me know.

Revlon Nail Polish in Lily

Revlon nail polish yang top speed dry itu beneran racun yee. Kalo ga tahan iman pasti mau beli semuanya. Apalagi buat kamu yang suka warna pastel, di koleksi Top Speed ini (dari yang aku liat) banyak warna pastelnya. Aku memutuskan buat beli yang Lily soalnya mirip sama OPI Rumple's Wiggin.

Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish in Lily

Bisa bedain ga mana yang OPI mana yang Revlon, menurutku kedua nail polish ini hasilnya sama, warnanya juga sama. Tapi Revlon warnanya sedikit lebih sheer dibandingin OPI, tapi keringnya lebih cepat. Revlon Top Speed Dry ini akan kering kurang dari 1 menit

(Middle Finger: Revlon Lily) (Ring Finger: OPI Rumple's Wiggin)

Kalo dilihat sekilas, Revlon in Lily warnanya sedikit punya warna abu-abu dan OPI Rumple's Wiggin memang ungu beneran ungu. Aku lebih suka Revlon Top Speed Dry, seperti yang aku bilang lebih cepat kering dan yang pasti jauh lebih murah :D

Review : Brush Set from Make Up Tool Shop

Hari ini aku mau review brush set dari Make-Up Tool Shop merknya Cerro Qreen. Brush set ini terdiri dari 15 pcs brush dan 1 brush roll, warnanya ungu tua sedikit mengkilat tapi ga glossy. Aku udah pake brush set ini kurang lebih 6 bulan, mari ditilik lebih lanjut :)

Aku review dari kiri ke kanan ya

1. Powder Brush : Ukurannya besar, bulunya lumayan lembut. Aku kurang suka aplikasi bedak pakai kuas  ini karena menurut aku kurang dense. Biasanya aku pakai brush ini buat ngebersihin eyeshadow yang jatoh di bawah mata.

2. Foundation Brush : Aku bukan pemakai foundation, jadi aku pakai brush ini buat aplikasli highlighter cair di tulang pipiku soalnya ukurannya pas banget buat di tulang pipiku. Bulunya cukup halus.

3. Concealer Brush : Menurutku ukuran brush ini untuk concealer brush sangat amat kecil dan ga efektif buat aplikasi concealer cair, hasilnya kurang bagus. Aku pakai brush ini buat ngebubuhin eyeshadow di inner tear duct, ukurannya yang kecil pas banget.

4. Blush Brush : Ini salah satu brush favorite aku, ukurannya pas dipipiku, bulunya sangaaat halus. Densenya juga pas untuk blush brush

5. Angled Contour Brush : Bentuknya yang miring cocok buat aplikasi bronzer di bawah tulang pipi , walaupun kurang dense biasanya aku cubit brushnya biar padat hehe. Kadang aku pakai brush ini untuk aplikasi blush.

1. Blending Brush : Bulunya sangat halus, ukurannya pun pas untuk mataku yang kecil ini hehe. 

2. Eye Shader Brush : Bulunya super duper lembut dan padat banget, aku pakai brush ini buat aplikasi eyeshadow di seluruh kelopak mata, bulunya yang padat bener-bener ngangkat eyeshadow.

3. Bigger Eye Shader Brush : Naah brush ini ukurannya lebih besar dari brush sebelumnya dan juga lebih dense. Untuk ukuran mataku brush ini terlalu besar untuk aplikasi eyeshadow di seluruh kelopak mataku, jadi aku pakai brush ini buat aplikasi highlighter di bawah alis.

4. Slanted Brush : Brush ini kaku banget, buat aplikasi brow powder jadi rapih dan ga makan waktu lama.

5. Blending Brush : Brush ini paling aku ga suka, abis dicuci bentuknya berubah jadi megar (aduh bahasa bagusnya apa ya? pokoknya mekar-mekar gitu) jadinya buat ngeblend warna juga ga bagus, aku pakai brush ini buat aplikasi concealer di bawah mata.

Another Eye Brushes

 1. Angled Eye Brush : Brush ini ukurannya ramping, cocok buat aplikasi eyeshadow di lipatan mata. Sebenernya aku jarang pakai brush ini :p.

2. Lash and Brow Brush : Sisi yang bentuknya kaya sisir itu aku ga pernah make, tapi yang bentuknya kaya sikat aku pake buat nyikat alis sebelum dan sesudah aku aplikasi brow powder.

3. Eyeliner Brush : Bentuknya yang lancip memudahkan aku buat aplikasi gel eyeliner, brush ini lumayan kaku.

4. Sponge Applicator : Spongenya bisa di copot, tapi aku ga pernah pake ini :(

Lip Brush

Yang terakhir ini Lip Brush. Ukurannya jauh lebih kecil daripada brush-brush lainnya, aku suka brush ini soalnya ada tutupnya jadi ga kotor kalo ditaro di makeup pouch.

Harga Brush Set ini IDR 290000 menurut aku worth it banget, apalagi buat yang baru mulai ngelenong soalnya lumayan lengkap. Mudah-mudahan review ini membantu buat yang lagi nyari brush :)
