Battle of Lipbalm

Hi there ladies!!

Winter is here! or shall I say wet season hehe. The weather get colder and my lips became drier and drier plus majority of my time I spent in room with air conditioner that makes my lips dry like hell. I'm pretty much have obsession with moisturizing stuff.

I think it would be fun if I share my opinion about my lipbalm galore, shall we start? :)

  •  Burt's Bee Beewax Lip balm : it have menthol in it so it will give your lips cool sensation. In my opinion it doesn't really moisturize my lips enough plus it's really hard to open it! not so my favorite, not gonna repurchase it.
  • Elizabeth Arden Eight Hours Lip Protectant : it's moisturizing my lips really good, but it have a weird smells :(. I usually apply it when I go to bed and when I woke up in the morning my lips are super super soft. If I can found it, I'm gonna repurchase it.
  • Smith's Rosebud Salve : I'm sure you're familiar with this lipbalm. A lot of people love this stuff, have a great rose smell. But if you're not a rose lover don't buy it, because the smells it kinda strong. I always take this baby with me every where. This is the best lipbalm I've ever try, definitely gonna repurchase it.
  • Marks & Spencer Raspberry Lip Butter : it's quite thin for lip butter, the consistency is more thin than Elizabeth Arden and Rosebud Salve one. It's an ok lipbalm not too crazy about this but the smells and the taste really yummy :9.
  • Nivea Essential Care : have been my favorite lipbalm for years and years. Great quality can't beat the price very affordable. Doesn't have smells or taste. But my problem with this stuff is melt really easy.
  • Nivea Med Protection : it have medication purpose but I don't think it works. Don't waste your money for this :(.
  • Khiel's Lip Balm in Mango : too pricey for lip balm but it works wonders! Smells exactly like fresh mango yuum, but doesn't taste like mango. Try it you'll not regret it. The consistency it's quite similar like the Mark & Spencer.
  • Maybelline Baby Lips : I don't know which flavor this is, it's kinda fruity and nice smells love the smells but I don't think this worth the hype all over beauty world. This is just an ok lipbalm nothing special.
  • Revlon Lip Treatment with SPF 15 : it have a hint of vanilla smell for me and it also have the tingly feeling but doesn't make your lips plump
Thank you for reading, hope you like it
Happy weekend :)

My Opinion : Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

Hi there ladies!

Just received my  Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, this is my second time purchasing this stuff. I'm sure you're familiar already with this product.  I've tried the 'share' size.. yeah you read it right sharing. Basically it just like sample size from the seller to tried it out. I got mine in XL size when they having sale for this size, I'm not remember how much -___-.
The reason why I get in XL size because I love the product so much, I can't resist the great deal hehe

Hopefully you can read what they claim, basically this is a makeup setting spray to help your makeup last longer and make it look fresh up to 16 hours. Well for me it's not make my makeup last longer or what so ever, I can see my nose getting oily after 3 hours spray this stuff.
But this taking away the powdery finish from my skin and my skin looks more healthy. That's why I really love this.

I spray this after I've done my makeup

Overall I love my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, I want to try the De Slick one after I finish up this.

Can't Get Enough with Neutral Eyeshadow

Hi there ladies!

Finally got my Stila In The Light Eyeshadow Palette. After debating with myself for almost 5 months to get Naked Palette from Urban Decay or not... well my heart drowned into Stila In The Light Palette :D. I promise to write my opinion about this Stila palette soon.

A little comparison :

Stila In The Light Palette and Urban Decay Naked Palette.

I'm not gonna swatch the Urban Decay Naked Palette because it's not mine, I borrowed from my boyfriend's sister for comparison purpose and I'm pretty sure you all ladies are familiar with the Urban Decay Naked Palette or maybe you have it :)

My Opinion : Clinique Superbalanced Makeup

Hi there ladies!

I'm not a foundation wearer, in fact I don't have any foundation except NYX foundation which I hate because it's cakey and feels like mask on me ewwh. I also tried the Revlon ColorStay one but not really impressed with it. I'm looking for sheer to medium coverage, not full coverage and doesn't have SPF in it and of course not too expensive. I was googling and found this Clinique Superbalanced Makeup. I've been wearing this foundation since 2 months a go (I'm just wearing foundation for hang out and special occasion, not everyday). So here's my opinion

The container is made from glass which quite heavy and not too travel friendly, but I kinda like the matte looking glass :) also I love the size of it, not too tall so it fit perfect on my makeup drawer. Doesn't come with the pump, sometimes i pouring too much  and end up wasting some of the product.

My shade is 65 Neutral, lady at Clinique counter really help me to find the right shade for me and she's explain about each foundation they have so I can decided which one I wan to get. The shade is perfect for me.

I'm not an expert for reviewing foundation, I have to say that the finish of this foundation is 'skin' finish, not too dewy, not too matte. You still can see your skin through this foundation, because this is sheer to medium coverage, if you a full coverage foundation lover I'm not suggest this foundation you will disappointed.

For your preference, I have normal to oily skin (mostly on my T-Zone area I get oily). I need to blot my face after 3 hours applied this foundation. If you have super oily skin I'm not recommend this foundation. This foundation doesn't cakey up on me, I never have a 'smile line' problem with it.

I've tried 2 ways to apply this foundation. First with traditional foundation brush, but I'm not happy with the result because I can see the stroke on my face and it takes a long time to do it. Second one is with the E.L.F Powder Brush and the result is amazing, it even out the foundation application and doesn't take a long time.

It cost IDR 285,000 in Indonesia, not too expensive for high end foundation. I don't know if I would repurchase this, I'm dying to try Makeup For Ever HD Foundation.

Have you ever tried Clinique makeup?

Looxtag : Fashion & Beauty Products You Avoid

Hi there ladies!

I just read post from Looxperiment about makeup and fashion that I don't want to wear. I found this is very interesting to do, so here's all my list :

Makeup :

1. Colorful Eyeshadow
I never found colorfull eyeshadow suit me. Some people can rock colorful eyeshadow looks. I just love my neutral eyeshadow look

Source

2. Skin Color Lipstick
or shall I said 'nude' lipstick? It's not attractive at all on me. My definition of nude lips is my lip color not my skin color. Again a lot of people can rock this nude but for me? no thank you

3. Lipgloss
I have full lips, I mean really full lips. I don't need extra thing to make my lips looks bigger. And the major reason is I don't like the way it feels on my lips, i feel my lips are going to fall out from my face. Ps : I hate when lipgloss stick to my hair gross

Source

4. Softlenses
Imagine put something on my eye ball? Nooo it's scare me. I'm too paranoid that the softlenses will stick to my eyeball forever

Fashion

1. Latex Legging
I have big thigh, not flattering on me. I just make me look likes balloon or something.

Source

2. Fur
I'm an animal lover, enough said.

Source

3. Ankle Boot
make me looks shorter than I am, it just cut out my height.

Hope I don't offend for someone
Thanks for reading, hope you enjoy it :)

My Makeup Brushes Organization

Hi there ladies!

I always get envy when I saw makeup collection or organization from YouTube or someone blog, they have such an awesome organization. I was using mug from my mom's kitchen to placing my brushes and any taller makeup products, never been happy with the set up. Looks very clutter, I need something compact and neat to put my brushes on.

So last Saturday me and my boyfriend went to Muji at Grand Indonesia, and I found storage system that I think 'hmm it's perfect for put my brushes' and it's affordable, it cost me IDR 53000 or USD 5.30.

 So take a look

It have 6 compartments, I think very useful to devided my brushes and taller makeup. Love the size of it, perfect for my small makeup vanity.

Oops sorry for the dusty vanity hehe

Back row :
1. Bigger makeup brushes
2.Eye brushes
3. Mascaras (some of them are unopened)

Front row :
1. Travel face brushes
2. Eyeliners, eye primer
3. All my lipglosses and concealer

I always have leak problem with my lipgloss and concealer, that's why I store them stand like that.

My Opinion : NYX Champagne & Caviar Palette

Hi there ladies!

How are you? :) on this post i wanna talk about my very first eyeshadow palette, and this is from NYX called Champagne & Caviar Palette. I have this palette over a year ago, I like it but not love it.

First the packaging, it's very sleek and compact also came with big size mirror which I love. It's really easy to put on your travel or even your everyday makeup bag. This palette will not take so much room in your makeup bag. But it's really easy to get your finger print on it, if you're an OCD maybe it's bother you.

Came with sponge tip applicator, i just throw it away when I got it because I knew I will never use it.

Look at the colors! Pretty right? hehe. The palette contain 10 colors neutral eyeshadow, 4 matte shades and 6 shimmer shades. I have to say some of the shimmer shades are not show up on my skin, they're pretty same color when I applied to my eye ball. The most gorgeous color in this palette is the matte deep brown color, I always use it for the outer corner of of eye and up to my crease.

Here are all the swatch without primer underneath, nice pigmentation. I suggest to use primer because the colors are very easy to fade out. Also I have a little bit issue with fall out for the matte shades. The black on this palette not dark dark black, it's more like chalker black.

I got mine at here, they have the best price for NYX product. I forgot how much I pay for it, but it's definitely affordable. Great for beginner, if you have a ton of neautral eyeshadow I'm not suggested to buy this palette because I'm pretty sure you have similar color.

Collective haul

Hi there ladies!

This is the reason why I don't buy makeup lately. I crave more about fashion item, I don't wanna waste my money on makeup unless I really need it (or want it :p)
So this is my collective haul since a month ago

All the tops that I got are from NEXT, they're having sale going on right now. In love with owl top, cute cute cute!! My boyfriend said that nothing special with the t-shirt but what can I say I love owl print on it :)

Bag and wallet are from Fossil. They're price is quite affordable for leather and the quality is amazing. The shoes I got it from Mango while they're have sale last month, see I'm such a bargain shopper :D

Finally got my Michael Kors watch yeaay.

Some of them are beauty related, I must said it's really hard to resist it. The Bath and Body Works pocketbac Lunch Box one smells like maple syrup yuum!

Dream Catcher yeaay!! I got them from my boyfriend's sister while she's in Bali

My Opinion : Bobbi Brown Corrector

Hi There Ladies!!

Woow it's been a long time since my last post. I really sorry, been busy at work.
Everytime I wanna write a blog I just don't know what I want to write about, I'm not really buying or trying new product.

But, about a month ago I tried new makeup product. It's definitely not new at all, but I just dying to tried this out. This is Bobby Brown Corrector my shade is Peach, I don't really want my undereye area super highlight or lighter than the rest of my face, so I go with peach it's pretty close to my skin color.

From the picture it's looks very yellow but it's really match my skin tone

The consistency is quite creamy, first I really scare it will be creasing but I'm wrong it didn't creasing at all (I always set it with powder). The coverage is amazing, you can see from the picture below. My eyes looking fresh after I use it, I read at one of beauty blog (I forget which one) she said that this Bobby Brown Corrector is 8 hours sleep in jar and it's true!!

Without Bobby Brown Corrector

With Bobby Brown Corrector

With Bobby Brown Corrector and Powder On Top

For the price I must say it's very pricey $23 at Sephora US but in where I live Indonesia it cost more, I think it's about IDR 350.0000 if I'm not mistaken. But for me it's really worth it! If you want to buy it online I suggest to tried the color at the counter.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoy
Hopefully I can blog more often :)

Have a nice day
